The United States of America supports Thailand to strengthen and develop the country environmental management by providing training courses and financial support. The U.S. EPA - Thailand (MOSTE) Memorandum of Agreement for Technical Cooperation in the Field of Environmental Protection has been signed by Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Mr. William Nitze, who led a delegation to Thailand, and Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (MOSTE), Dr. Arthit Ourairat. Under this agreement, number of activities will be implemented such as training programme, technical assistants, experience and knowledge exchange and etc.
