Mr. Athapol Charoenshunsa, Director General of the Pollution Control Department (PCD), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment signed the announcement of the intention of honesty in organizational administration in order to achieve the intention of the National Strategy B.E. 2561-2580 (2018–2037), the 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan B.E. 2560-2564 (2017-2021) and the National Anti–Corruption Strategy–Phase 3 B.E. 2560-2564 (2017–2021) that stipulating the prevention and suppression of corruption and misconduct in the public sector to be one of the country’s key policies.
Mr. Athapol mentioned that the PCD commits to administrate and perform duties with honest, adhere to the principles of virtue and transparency, behave and conduct him/herself with honor and dignity of being a government official, use correct judgment to solve problem, supervise and encourage PCD’s personnel to be free from corruption and be ready for inspection. In order for people to confidence and trust in the performance of the organization, PCD has therefore established the following policies to adhere as a guideline:

Work Integrity: Implement with full competency following standards, manuals, laws and regulations, develop work procedures and operating systems to facilitate the reduction of individual’s discretionary in the performance of duties, organize personnel management, and establish a systematic and verifiable management of personnel, budget and government assets.
PCD has adhered to these principles in order to ensure the transparency and accountability of public administration and operations, as well as to minimize the risks of fraud, corruption and misconduct associated with its operations, said Mr. Athapol.
