Deputy Prime Minister Suchart, together with the Governor of Bangkok and the FTI, launched the “Green List Plus: Fight the Dust, Reduce PM2.5” nationwide campaign.

Today (29 October 2025) at 10:00 a.m., Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, together with Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok,
Mr. Surin Worakijthamrong, Director General of the Pollution Control Department (PCD), and Miss Yuphin Boonsirichan, Chair of the Automotive Industry Club, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), held a joint press conference to launch the Green List Plus: “Fight the Dust, Reduce PM2.5” campaign at Saksit Tridech Conference Room, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The initiative is a collaboration between government agencies—including the Ministry of Energy, Department of Land Transport, Traffic Police Division, and the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation—and private-sector partners, aimed at preventing and reducing PM2.5 emissions from transportation in line with the government’s national agenda to tackle PM2.5 pollution.

Mr. Suchart stated: “The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment encourages the public to bring their vehicles in for inspection as part of a national effort to reduce PM2.5 emissions, under the slogan ‘Check your car, reduce the dust.’ We will push the Green List Plus campaign forward in a practical and tangible manner so that the public can benefit and enjoy better quality of life. I would like to thank all government and private-sector partners for driving this initiative forward. Success in addressing PM2.5 pollution requires strong cooperation from all sectors—from upstream policy levels, midstream industrial sectors, and downstream public participation, including support from the agricultural and local government sectors.”

The campaign invites owners of small private vehicles to undergo engine inspection and maintenance, supported by participating car manufacturers. Promotion 1 offers a discount on engine inspection services, providing over 55 items free of charge, along with discounts of up to 50% on engine oil, spare parts, and labor costs. This applies to vehicles serviced at 1,745 authorized service centers nationwide from 9 automotive brands: Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Hino, Ford, and Suzuki. It also applies to oil change service centers of 5 fuel retailers: PTT, Bangchak, Shell, PT, and Mobil, as well as participating B-Quik service centers. In addition, those who register for the Green List Plus account with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will receive additional benefits under Promotion 2 from participating private sector partners, such as Central Pattana Public Company Limited, CP Axtra Public Company Limited, The Mall Group Company Limited, Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), and BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited.
